SHARING THEIR PETS' LOVE

The next few sub-pages (see menu at left) show photographs of 94 volunteer-pet teams (listed below) joining Pets on Wheels in years 2008 through March 2012, during periods of time ranging from 3 months to a year -- great animals, great humans, bringing the many benefits of the human-animal bond to the elderly and/or infirm in Scottsdale's health care centers. The photographs are of pets new to the program. Some of the volunteers themselves have been with the program for several years with other pets. To view photos, click on the appropriate time period at the bottom of the left-hand sub-menu.

Names and photos of 17 volunteer-pet teams and 4 volunteers without pets beginning the program before 2008 can be seen by clicking on menu item, "Veteran Volunteer-Pet Teams."

Most photos were taken during the initial applicant's orientation meeting, so the dogs are not equipped with logo bandanas and the special safety collar-leads used later when visiting.
